Fly to Krabi in just under 90 minutes from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport Krabi, where the beautiful seaside town, on southern Thailand’s west coast will welcome you, with craggy, sheer limestone cliffs called karsts, dense mangrove forests, and more than a hundred offshore islands.
The most famous beach destinations include the Phi Phi Islands, rising from the sea like giant rain-forested boulders, and the chilled, white sandy oasis of Railay Beach, accessible only by boat, with deep caves to explore, and known as a great rock-climbing spot. Some 140 km away is the sleepy seaside town of Khao Lak, where long white sandy stretches of more than 20km of beach are lapped with the warm waters of the Andaman Sea. Fresh fish caught locally is always on the fragrant Thai infused menus, as the sun sinks on the end of another relaxing day in peaceful paradise. Khao Lak is also just one hour’s drive from Phuket International Airport, so visitors can fly into Phuket and out of Krabi or vice versa.
